Frequently Asked Questions
About the Peel Treatments
How does the SoleFix Peel Mask work?
The peel mask contains a blend of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) that dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells over 3–7 days. The skin then sheds naturally — no scrubbing required. The result is the fresh, soft skin layer that was underneath all along.
When does the peeling start?
Most customers see peeling begin between Day 3 and Day 5 after treatment. Soaking your feet in warm water for 10 minutes daily accelerates the process. Some skin types (especially thicker male skin) may take until Day 7–10. This is normal — it means the formula is working deeper.
Is the peeling dramatic? Will it be obvious in public?
The peeling varies by person. Some customers experience light flaking, others get large sheet peels. Most people wear socks during the peeling phase so shed skin doesn't appear in public — the process is fully contained to the foot and typically complete within 10 days.
Can I do the peel more than once?
Yes. We recommend repeating the peel treatment every 4–6 weeks for ongoing maintenance. Between peels, use the Heel Repair Cream and Silicone Heel Socks to maintain your results.
Is the peel safe for sensitive skin?
The formula is designed for the thick skin on the soles of the feet — which is significantly more resilient than facial or body skin. If you have known skin sensitivities, a history of eczema on your feet, or open wounds, we recommend consulting a skincare professional before use. Do not use on broken skin.
What's the difference between the Original Peel Mask and the Men's Peel Mask?
The Men's Peel Mask uses a higher-concentration formula designed for thicker male foot skin, which typically builds calluses faster and more densely. Men should also extend the treatment time to 90 minutes (vs 60 for the original). Results are often more dramatic.
About Comfort & Support
How do I know if the Comfort Insoles will fit my shoes?
SoleFix Comfort Insoles are trim-to-fit and include a size guide. They work in most shoe types including sneakers, work boots, dress shoes, and casual footwear. If your shoe has a removable existing insole, remove it before inserting SoleFix insoles for best fit.
How long do the Comfort Insoles last?
With regular daily use, insoles typically last 6–12 months before the cushioning visibly compresses. Signs it's time to replace: reduced cushioning feel, insole has moulded flat, or you notice heel or arch discomfort returning.
Can I use the Silicone Heel Socks every night?
Yes — the Silicone Heel Socks are designed for regular overnight use. Wash them after each use with mild soap and warm water and air dry. They're built to last months of regular use.
